General

What is ShowRap?

ShowRap is a platform that promotes upcoming rappers and music producers. We let you publish tracks, sell beats, build a community and gain reach among hip-hop fans.

Is the platform free to use?

Yes! Registration and the basic features — adding tracks, browsing beats, taking part in the community and commenting — are completely free.

How can I sign up?

Click “Log in” in the top right corner of the page, then choose “Sign up”. You only need an email address, a username and a password.

Do I have to be 18 or older?

Yes, using ShowRap requires being at least 18 years old or having the consent of a legal guardian. You will find the details in the terms of service.

Adding music

How do I add my track?

After logging in, go to “Add track”. Paste a YouTube link to your track, fill in the title, description and tags, then publish. Your track will appear on the homepage in the “Recently added” section.

Which link formats are supported?

We support standard YouTube links (youtube.com/watch?v=...) as well as short ones (youtu.be/...). Make sure the video is public or unlisted (not private).

Can I edit or delete a track I added?

Yes, in your profile you will find the list of your tracks. You can edit the description, tags and thumbnail, or delete a track at any time.

How many tracks can I add?

There is no limit — you can add as many tracks as you like. We encourage you to publish new music regularly!

Beats and sales

How do I put a beat up for sale?

Go to “Add beat”, upload an audio file (MP3/WAV, max 50MB), set the price, and add a description and tags. The beat will appear in the beat shop.

What are the pricing options?

You set the price yourself. You can set a lease price and, optionally, a price for exclusive rights. The minimum price is 1 PLN.

How does buying a beat work?

The buyer clicks “Buy” on the chosen beat, is redirected to the secure CashBill payment gateway, and after a successful transaction gets access to the file.

Do you take a commission on sales?

You will find details about commissions and payouts in the platform’s terms of service, or you can contact us via the contact form.

Promotion

How can I promote my track?

There is no paid promotion right now. The “Hot” section on the homepage is filled automatically with the tracks that got the most plays, likes and comments over the last week, so the best way to get there is to add a strong track and share it.

What is the TOP ranking?

The TOP ranking is a weekly list of the most popular tracks on the platform. The position depends on the number of plays, likes and comments from the last 7 days.

What is the Affiliate Program?

The Affiliate Program lets you earn a commission on purchases made by people you invited to the platform. You will find the details and your unique link on the Affiliate Program page.

Community

What is the Community section?

It is a place where users can share thoughts, promote their projects, look for collaboration and discuss hip-hop. It works like a forum / social feed.

How can I comment on tracks and articles?

You just need to be logged in — under every track and article you will find a comment field. You can also reply to other users’ comments.

What do likes and reactions do?

Likes under tracks and articles and reactions (emoji) in the community help highlight the best content and influence the TOP ranking.

Payments

Which payment methods do you support?

Payments are processed by CashBill — we support online transfers, BLIK, payment cards (Visa, Mastercard) and digital wallets.

Are payments secure?

Yes, all transactions are encrypted and processed by the licensed payment operator CashBill. We do not store payment card data.

How can I get an invoice?

After making a payment, contact us via the contact form and provide your invoice details and the transaction number.

Security and account

I forgot my password — what should I do?

On the login screen click “Forgot your password?”, enter your email address and you will receive a link to reset your password.

How can I change my profile details?

Go to Settings (the gear icon in the menu) → the “Profile” tab. There you can change your avatar, bio, social links and other information.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, if you want to delete your account, contact us via the contact form. We will delete your account together with all related data.

How do I report a violation of the terms?

If you see content that breaks the terms of service, use the contact form and describe the problem. Our team will review the report and take appropriate action.
